We had a decent morning and the increasing breeze did not affect the catch too much. We ended on 60 birds and two thirds of these were retraps, including couple of oldies. The majority of the catch was made up of Yellowhammers and Reed Buntings, a surprising number of the latter being new birds. A Chiffchaff made a few short song bursts but evaded the net and no other summer visitors were noted.
