A small team operated the feeding site today. A Chiffchaff was singing for part of the morning and the sun was out. Could it be that spring is really here?! The catching was steady throughout the morning and we ended on 37 birds, 21 of which were Yellowhammers. There was very little variety in the other 16 birds and remarkably not a single Blue or Great Tit was caught.
